Chasing My Dog in the Woods is a small salute to John Divola. It’s also about trying to capture a dog in the frame while she is running fast and roaming free between the trees.
Stefan Vanthuyne is an independent writer and lecturer. He regularly writes about photography for Belgian newspaper De Standaard. He has contributed articles and essays to a number of magazines, books and exhibitions, and has also been commissioned by artists to write about their work. From 2017 until 2020 he was affiliated to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp as a researcher. In 2017, as part of his research activities, he founded the Belgian Platform for Photobooks.
