Did you ever get to be a Child? Just before your thoughts learn to self-police, there is but the seed of the True You. This here is an outrageous, transgressive, overly honest and undoubtedly unnecessary tale of one such Child. Horrifying. And yet, you were just the same. The Child is dead, long live the Child.  Late Child is a powerful literary memoir exploring childhood, identity, and emotional survival in a post-Soviet world. Blending poetic language with raw honesty, Late Child presents a series of intimate memories that trace a young girl’s journey through family life, religion, isolation, and erotic self-discovery. The book confronts difficult subjects with clarity and courage, offering readers a deeply personal and unsettling portrait of growing up. With its innovative structure and lyrical voice, Late Child blurs the line between memoir and prose poetry, capturing the lasting impact of childhood on adult identity.

Diana was born to a land of Soviet collapse. A land particularly proud and patriotism-inducing. A land you might have heard of. Her paternal family is a Finnish mystery, her father’s parents mysteriously killed in a car accident. She was named after an English princess, she was born on the brink of the said princess’s death; she is now residing in Paris, by Place Diana (Diana Square), tucked neatly right by the tunnel of the said princess’s death. But she was then reborn, and now awakened.
